What is there not to love about this man? He’s with Helena Bonham Carter, he’s the best film director/producer out there, and he’s the creator of Jack Skellington. I definitely think he absolutely deserved it this week.

OK, so I was super surprised that I actually LIKED these guys. I thought they would be super-posuer, Adam Lambert types. But they were good! They reminded me of Sugarcult, kinda. So…thanks to Garrett, who told me to listen to them.

Johnny Depp!!!
So I know what you’re thinking - he’s a popular Hollywood actor! Conformist central! But really, he is such an amazing actor. If Edward Scissorhands wasn’t enough, then he goes and does Sweeney Todd. I was sold then. And to top it all off, he’s still absolutely GORGEOUS at what, like 45? Also, he has two kids or something. Who else could do that?

He’s the winner of Season 4, Project Runway, (can you say best show in the world?) and has absolutely GORGEOUS work. I loved his Spring 2009 collection. I’m not usually into high fashion or haute couture, but Oh My Gosh, I wish he was my gay lover. Plus he has a tattoo of a squid. How cool is that?

A note to concerned, overprotective, stifling dads everywhere:
When you think about it, putting something through a pierced hole in your body is like wrapping your hand around it. The skin inside has healed over to create new skin cells, and is completely closed off from blood vessels and the like. It is completely fine to put paperclips through your ear! Or your daughter’s, anyway.
I looked it up even: as long as your not actually putting the paper clip dow the ear canal, it’s completely safe. And the posts of my normal earrigns are exactly the same size. So there.
